It's already Wednesday.
Wednesday.
I realized today that any time I go through a major event in my life, I crave to write about it. Not only as a way to preserve my memory of the event, but also to help me process through it. I write poetry. I write step by step events. I dream. I make lists.
In that vein...
Timeline of events for Guam:
03 January: Orders to Japan
10 January: Orders Cancelled
04 February: Orders to Guam
11 April: Homegoods packed and shipped (bulk of house)
04 May: Car shipped from VPC in St Louis
19 May: Long Term Storage Packed and Stored
Mid May: Homegoods arrived on Island!
24 May: Typhoon Mawar
25 May: Stop Order Movement initiated (insert slight freak out when I didn't know if we could go or not)
30 May: Unaccompanied baggage packed and shipped (last minute household goods)
15 June: ETP Approved (Exception to Policy, which would allow us girls to travel with Sam rather than waiting up to 5+ months after he arrives on Island).
Late June: Flight to Guam
We have been stationed at three bases already and moved houses/locations 11 times.
On to our new adventure.
